sometimes things fall in weird places. or end up in weird places. check places you havent been in the house because sometimes they end up there anyway

He twisted the necklace from his little brother around his fingers carefully, thinking about the day, way too distracted for what he was supposed to be doing. Which was, in fact, picking up milk and bacon and then leaving the grocery store.

He had milk. And had gotten distracted looking at the pies. So he had picked one up and placed it in his cart. Because he was not in a good mood. Soulmates were stupid. His parents had been soulmates. They were both tragically dead now. His brother had met his soulmate a few years ago and she had died in an apartment fire.

He wasn't looking forward to his personal torture. He sighed, finally turning his cart to look at the meat.

As he spotted the bacon, he also spotted the row of zeroes on his wrist, and he turned his eyes up slowly.
