TO ANYONE,  SUCH A GATHERING MIGHT  be reason to marvel and gawk,  but for lord tyki mikk,  they were nothing but a bore.  still,  he knew of their value to his earl,  so the noah would play along,  albeit unhappily.  though he was all smiles and proper etiquettes,  mind was more occupied with the fish ponds he had passed,  or that he might grab a snack from once the whole ordeal was over.  he had truly perfected the art of being just distracted enough by his own thoughts to endure the endless rambling he was often subjected to,  while at the same time not seeming too distant to invest in.  the noble had a reputation to uphold,  after all.

Daisya whipped around, having not expected an answer. He stood, unsure of what to do, between Lenalee and whatever contraption of her brother’s that he’d just broken. In his defense, it had been and accident. Well, poking around something he really shouldn’t have been touching was no accident. But breaking it? That wasn’t supposed to happen.

“Oh hey! Didn’t see you there. I was just uh…” He had to thing of something. Quick. “Looking. Yeah. It’s a little banged up but nothing too bad.”

As he spoke smoke started billowing out of the machine, flames peeking out from the gaps. He didn’t look back.

“Everything is under control.”

“Mrrah.” A metallic growling, grumbling. The thing that had challenged him has been handily torn apart, and he’s rather impressed if she can tell the difference between his blood and the enemy’s.

Maybe that’s why she’s concerned, if she thinks it’s all his. He is bleeding, though. Probably a fair but, tough Lancelot doesn’t really care.

He stays sitting on the ground, watching her as she hovers concerned over him. Lancelot blinks up at her and frowns. “It’s fine. I can’t die from just this.” He’ll heal up rather quickly, the mana feed he can absorb from the surroundings and his dubious connection with the thing that called him here is enough. He’ll just look like a nightmare for a while, first.

Her violets were squinted, gauging the severity of his wounds through his jacket. The finders were already taking note of the events and preparing for their return, but the female exorcist had stuck behind with Kanda. If she knew anything about Kanda, he’d write off his injuries, despite bearing the more acute wounds of the two. As they packed their belongings she stopped and made her way over to the taller male, gently tugging at the sleeve of his jacket. SIlently, she gestured with a tilt of her head to the aid kit she’d brought along. She knew she didn’t need to say much for him to understand what she was asking. Her expectant gaze lifted to meet his, lips pressed in a firm line and eyes brimming with concern.

Apostle could never question the fact that they had faced so many threats for so long, for it was a task of God's chosen ones for the Holy Crusade --------------- though it could cost more than they’d be able to offer. At least this time he had been able to prevent some major damage rather than actually cause it, just in time to destroy the enemy before anything worse could have happened; It would be unbelievably painful to have to lose one more of his peers; Especially one he could never dare to imagine live without. Heavy, leisure footsteps seemed to indicate some anger, but what was apparent in his speech seemed far from it;   ❛❛ If you think I’d be taken down by something so simple ———— then you’re wrong. Don’t worry about it. ❜❜   His words actually sounded amused as they understated the young woman, azure irises carrying this tired docility whilst no resistance could be observed on his body, as is silently allowing his companion to do as she pleased.

Lenalee narrowed her eyes, pointing an accusatory digit, “ That’s not how you ask! “ She sighs,” Lets try that again. Hey Lenalee, can I borrow a hair tie?” She leaned her ear in, hand curled towards him expectantly.

❛❛ Is that so? ❜❜   Eyes narrow so very slightly at her first assertion and still, together with the smirk leisurely spreading across his face, concealed no defiance to her recrimination whilst that body almost imperceptibly shortened the distance between the two.   ❛❛ And why would I say that? Isn’t it easier if you just give what I asked? ❜❜   Oh ambiguity... Whether it was purposeful or not it would be only up to his listener.

It took a moment to process his agility and form; it had only taken a mere few seconds to bring her down. Again. Her breaths were shallow, violets steeled as she gaped up at Kanda. Once settled into the reality that she’d failed, yet again, her tense muscles went lax and she closed her eyes with a frustrated groan. But a challenge never stopped her before and it wasn’t about to now. After taking a brief moment to center herself, she opened her eyes again with newly set determination. Her arms reach up to grab his shoulder, hips raised as she pulls him into a sweep to get her out of his hold and trade their positions. There’s a glint of resolve in her eyes and she smiles down at him for a moment. “ Okay, this time I’ll get it right. ” She picks herself up from his frame to begin the exercise again.

Any sparkle of annoyance that could be felt at that very moment quickly seems to give rise to some surprise at her posture; It wouldn’t be something new to train with his companions, but surely it was always noteworthy to see so much initiative for something of this nature coming from her. In contrast, the tensed scowl on his face seemed to loosen in the least; There was no satisfaction of taking her down yet again after a considerable while training, although some time could have been wasted looking down at the other at each submission.

He could have tried to discourage her for not being perfectly aligned or using her full potential, rude words of disdain could have been let out... Until the sudden turn of events that is. Which, of course, managed to get him speechless for an embarrassing fraction of seconds. Why does it seem so difficult for you to make any genuine compliments? Although the silence and piercing gaze through the smooth strands, now completely loose from training, could say otherwise, it was a fact that satisfaction started arising within him with the girl's advances.
