So I haven't really had time to do art for fun in a while and I want to do more fan art and also finish this someday, but I've left little projects like this to rot before. I didn't want this to end up abandoned without you ever seeing the fan art I made for your fic, so here's a sketch from chapter one! It's very rough 😅

I've complimented your writing before, but I'm here to do it again. I love a lot of ATLA fics, but Kintsugi is, like, the EXACT right flavor. It's like you woke up one morning and thought, "I'm going to write the perfect fic for this one specific girl in Utah" and then you DID. Thank you again for the time, effort, and skill that you put into working on your amazing fanfiction ; w ;

Honestly, I think this is just a case of tastes syncing bc kintsugi is like, Big Flavor to me too. Toph and Zuko bonding as each others adoptive siblings? Found family? Absolutely incredible.

Oh no! Are you okay??

I’m okay, mostly! I won’t be able to write for the foreseeable future since it still bleeds a little when I apply pressure to it (I am writing this sans one thumb) but it was just a slightly deep cut in a bad location.

at least I know for sure that knife is sharp now!!
