Has Solar ever tried to 3rd wheel a date with Nexus and Daydream? Or I guess a double date if Dark Sun goes with him

They're certainly... doing somethings. Daydream is the one to invite his brother and Dark Sun. Theyre Winning.

Also the lovely writings of Thorn @thorns-and-rosewings was the inspiration for this comic actually. Which I will post here cause she gave me the okay!

"Daydream worked REALLY hard to negotiate this 'peaceful' lunch out with his brother and Nexus. Being the sweetheart he is, he naively believes that this rift between the two might be mendable…

He is sadly still unaware of all the details relating to their estrangement…

Still they did both agree to this lunch. Something Dreamy is keeping airy and cheerful. As he talks with everyone.

Unaware of the hateful glare Nexus and Solar are giving each other.

Dreamy then reminds Solar of one of the last conversations they had before his first 'death' about how kissing their future true loves would go.

Cue Nexus being a total shit and giving Dreamy a loving smooch in front of his brother…

Aaaand cue Solar immediately getting angry and invoking the art of the deep romantic kiss. The dip and smooch on Dark Sun…

If course that gets these two at it again. Only now Dreamy is feeling Dreamy and Dark Sun can definitely feel the love tonight.

They both pretty much acknowledge that their loves are morons….

But maybe it's good to keep that their little secrets for now."

Oh yeah, this is New Moon and Solar before he loose his limbs. I KNOW NM looks bigger, but that's because he is wearing his casual baggy clothes. And he was lazy to change them guys(Solar looks like he has his eyes open but he is sleeping).

I’m gonna be frank.

I love Solar X Nexus.

Before someone says “t-that’s inscest!” Or “b-but that’s t-toxic!”

1 . ITS NOT INCEST. They VIEWED eachother as family. AND it’s been stated MANY times that NO ONE IS TRULY RELATED. Reed even said something about this I believe, plus that one podcast episode which downright stated none of them are related. Cause when it comes down to it, THEYRE ROBOTS. They CANNOT be related, it’s not possible. They CAN see eachother as family and act like a family but THAT DOES NOT MAKE THEM BIOLOGICALLY FAMILY WHICH IN TURN MEANS ITS NOT INCEST. Sure there are some ships I wouldn’t defend with this argument, such as Sun X Moon, Sun X Terra, or Moon X Terra. Why specifically these three? Because they were all made by the same creator, and have never truly shown any romantic feelings. To me that’s where I draw the line on this rule that they’re not related. However, I’m not someone who will hate or harass anyone.

2 . Nexus X Solar is toxic? You know what else is toxic and likely always had been? Solar X Ruin. And you know what Solar X Ruin was? The most popular Solar ship. Likely still high up there. Also, I’m gonna mention AUs. Keep in mind: SAMS IS AN AU OF SB! And there ARE AUS of SAMS IN FACT, A BUNCH OF AUS OF SAMS. And also, we have some things that make it clear that not every Sun / Moon sees eachother as brothers (which in turn would mean not every Solar and Nexus would see eachother as brothers (in our AUs)). Nova X Frost? Sun X Moon. MaSm Moon X MaSm Sun?? MOON X SUN. If it’s not obvious, AUS ARENT “JUST EXCUSES” AND ARE EVEN USED IN THE SHOWS FOR SHIPS LIKE THIS. SO NEXT TIME YOU GO HARASSING A DARKMECHANIC (Solar x nexus.) SHIPPER, KEEP IN MIND THERE ARE AND INFINITE AMOUNT OF UNIVERSES AND IN SOME SUN AND MOON, THE MOST FAMILY BONDED CHARACTERS FROM THE MAIN DIMENSION, ARE TOGETHER.

How does the rest of the Celestial family feel about little Meteorite?

Oh they love her!

Meteor is very adorable, the fact that she's Solars daughter and technically everyone's niece adds an additional layer of love that they feel for her. 🥰

Even early on she's showing herself to be a remarkably calm little baby and she has the cutest little laughs. Although due to her having very poor eyesight everyone handles her with a little extra care.

Solar actually spends some extra time with Earth, crocheting and knitting some very soft blankets and toys for her. This man is gonna make damn sure he's as good of a father as he can be.

He's actually impressing Dark Sun a lot with this whole arrangement. Making him start too... Feel... Things towards Solar now.

Although due to this, Dark Sun murders the Overseer before this could result in ANY unfortunate circumstances for Solar and the family...

Jack is also beyond happy that he now has a little sister that can't wait to play with. He does have to be reminded a few times to be gentle with her as she's still a lil baby and is fragile right now.

Everyone is still very wary about Dark Sun being her other parent though, undoubtedly due to everything everyone has gone through with him... But the thing is that he's being tolerated. As he openly stated he has no more plots or plans that involve any of them anymore... And he's finally in a place in his life where he can have something he's wanted all of his life... Aka a child to love and adore.

But here's the only part of this that's actually quite sad... Due to Meteor now being the newest member of the family and them focusing on her... It just means that Nexus has genuinely slipped from everyone's minds. As they focus on the new baby and the joy she brings... Rather than think about Nexus and all the negativity that surrounds him.
