Post-time skip Doumeki behavior
Okay I've seen some people not have a single clue on why Doumeki is being cold or what could be the true intentions behind his behavior. Which honestly pisses me the fuck off.
People are judging him and getting all pissy at him for being cold. But not that many folks seem to have a clue as to why. Or be understanding towards him. Are we just going to forget everything Yashiro had made him go through?
I'm not saying he's a saint and has done nothing wrong because he's not. They have 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 . There relationship has gone cold bc 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘱𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦.
As to why he's being cold though, I feel is not too overcomplicated to tell. Before the time skip it was 𝘩𝘪𝘮 doing all of the chasing and pinning. 𝘏𝘦 was the one who mostly chased Yashiro.
But now do? Yeah no. I feel that part of why he's not chasing him anymore is because he's simply done with Yashiro's shit. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 being the only one showing any intent. Instead he's now trying to make Yashiro go 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘮.
He's being cold bc 1. He's simply done lambasting Yashiro with love bc he now knows how love 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘴 Yashiro. Didn't work before won't work now. (I 𝘥𝘰 believe thought that Yashiro's intake of love has changed now but that's for another post) but of course Doumeki doesn't know that.
2. He wants Yashiro to go after 𝘩𝘪𝘮, desire and want only 𝘩𝘪𝘮. Which he kind of already accomplished in way (since Yashiro can now 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘋𝘰𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘬𝘪)
Meaning he's starving him of that affection because he wants Yashiro to go after him. So far he's been successful in making Yashiro ache for him. And what do you do when you don't get what you're aching for? You fight for it.
And last but definitely not least
3. He 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 that showing and expressing his feelings towards Yashiro will only drive him away. Again this is only a 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 since we haven't really gotten much of his POV since the time skip.
For that same reason he might as well be thinking "𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺, 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘺. 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯" and considering how Yashiro went to hirata 𝘴𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 and how they 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘥 last time trying to protect one another. You can't really blame him for thinking that.
