Mused on how the paths of the Thief King and Kisara may have crossed within somewhat canon events.

After the dragon form of Kisara's spirit killed the slave traders that destroyed and pillaged young Set's village, the surviving villagers quickly spread word of what they had witnessed across the region. Such news soon led to dramatic rumors. Then born was the urban legend of a mystical white-winged serpent roaming the endless dunes of Deshret, preying upon lost wonderers and trade caravans.

Meanwhile, Bakura would have undoubtedly caught wind of this myth throughout his vagabond travels and early exploits. At first, he may dismiss it as nothing more than a grandiose story fabricated by the bored and simple-minded.

It wouldn't be until he earned the infamous title of "thief king" years later that the rumors would resurface and breathe life back into the legend. A witch of blue eyes and white hair, they'd whisper in the streets. A powerful beast confined within the body of a mortal woman. If he sought to one day destroy the Pharaoh and his court, every possible advantage would need to be considered. And what a magnificent weapon this surely would be if proved real- and brought to his heel.

casually settles in the pharaoh's throne. it is his now. 😈

Now, there are two ways he can go about this.

He decides, instead, to go the objectively funnier way.

He calls Karim over, but instead of having him escort the thief out of the palace, he instead has Karim do a "wall-sit" squatting position.

And he sits right in the Priest's lap instead, and goes right back to his paperwork.

Eli's Atem. After reading a couple interactions, yeah, and /s I hate it lol

I think that made me wonder if Mariku would work with other Atems/Yami Yugis

I don't know darknesskng too well, but their TKB gives off a certain energy that I wonder if it would resonate with your Mariku. (It would be a chaotic ship, probably. I think they would push each other's buttons a lot.)

I wish we could see some more interaction with Ra's Marik and your Marik, but I don't know if I'd call it a ship exactly?

I wish there was someone from Zexal I could see being a ship, but I'm not sure yet

I feel like there's one I'm missing

Actually tagged this as IC replies, but I gotta move to ooc territory now to comment on this:

1.) Agreed. Not only is Deathshipping my favorite, Ryo (@starlitmemoriam) and Mariku are just getting along so well, it was almost shocking... like we cluldn't bend them in any direction.

The magnetism was beyond creepy and exciting.

2.) Eli's Atem (@ofthepuzzle) is definitely great shipping material. We resonate super well about a lot of things and apparently, whenever they come together our muses just so happen to be risktakers for the highest benefit.

I have done Clashshipping in the past but it never felt this natural to me 😌

3.) You and meboth, Anon. @darknesskng and I had a few IM interactions and we exchanged a bit of writing. I don't know them well, yet, but they have a nice spice in their portrayal. Probably oneof the muses around that could become really dangerous for shadow boi.

He'd have to feel out the waters first, before getting into any kind of relationship, since he has dealt with enough toxic and suppressing situations in his life.

4.) I swear Ra's Marik (@iilahalzili) is such a different brand, I'm very happy they portray him so extremely versatile and differently. In all honesty, I could maybe see them circling each other, but I don't know if it would lead to anything.

My muse at least shows off his brightest smile, but when nobody is looking, I imagine them both going exactly like this:

I mean, I know people tell me over and over and OVER that the other YuGiOh arcs are worth a watch... I just don't know how to fit them in my schedule and if I would enjoy them... *sighs*

I have so little time for things, I enjoy anymore that I don't wanna waste it on things that I might end up being bored by.

What you MAY be missing are Bakura muses. I can see those being linked to him =w= I can also see Yugis in that position. I would also like to see Mais in that position, but I just don't see Mais at all T.T ... @kujakudarling is a possible candidate as well :3

The sun's light and the evening darkness battled, a long fight that lasted through the night, as Apep would rise from the mists of the Underworld, a great beast cloaked in the scales of the night, and he would rise, fangs gleaming, the sea of darkness his home, and he was the great beast of Apophis, the darkness that would fall over the entire world as the God Eater who would rise, who would swallow the sun in his gaping maw, who would blot out the sun with his poison and the hood of the serpent would be the wings of war, the fire that would fall from the sky, the ash that flesh would become, the blood and bones of the fallen, and the darkness would swallow the whole of the land, and always, with every morning, would come the sun.

Their dance was as eternal as the celestial spinning of the sun and moon. The emptiness of the void between the stars. Their battle was the movement of the elegance of the universe. Embodied in the flesh of the humans that followed them.

His chariot had been shot out from under him, by the chase he'd given to the thief. His sidearm remained--a simple sword--with his bow and quiver on hand. And yet he still gave chase, on foot. Long past the point of caring about the arrowheads he'd yet to pull out of his back and legs. To stop the bleeding. He'd attend to that later.

Rather, he stared down the thief, arrow knocked, aiming to fire. The King of Thieves was a splash of blood in darkness. Red eyes and red blood and red was the sun drowning and bleeding across the horizon. The evening sun was falling. Osiris rose in the sky, and Ra stared down Apep.

"Yield."

Amused, he shifts comfortably in his seat and then leans forward a bit to let them know they BOTH have his full attention. "And? That's it? How disappointing."

He still didn't look up from his scrolls, however, he was intruiged by the apparent challenge being issued to him.

So, he clicked his fingers.

His face still not moving from its set position--it must be a talent at this point, truly, particularly since he was beginning to write upside-down--he was lifted in one, muscular arm, and then High Priest Shada appeared. Both moved into a squatting position, one knee out. He sat, lazily, one leg crossed over the other, and casually tucked himself into a throne of beefcake muscle.

He licked his finger, and flicked to his next papyrus roll. Crossed and uncrossed his legs.

Truthfully, he can admire his buff servants all day.

It's a rarity for Lenny to spend time outside of the palace, but today was a special occasion. After relentless begging, she was allowed to have a few hours of break time so she could go pick some wildflowers. She'd heard tales of some pretty ones that grew near the outskirts of the city and was itching to use them to make flower crowns with. Granted, the stories were true.

The walk to the area was long and grueling in the desert heat, but eventually the blonde made it to her destination. She's grinning from ear to ear at the sight of the small clusters of flowers. "They're beautiful." she whispers.

Sandaled feet walk over to the clustered flowers. Kneeling down she places her small, hand woven basket onto the desert sand. She reaches down a hand to pick a flower when she hears foot steps coming from behind her.

Lenny tenses, turning her head to look in the direction of the noise. She spots the Thief King almost immediately. Her hand is frozen in place, while her mouth hangs agape. She's struggling to find the words.

After a few moments of awkward silence she's able to force out the words. "What are you doing here?"
