Père Lachaise 🦇
Dead Horse Bay was an old horse & animal bone dumping ground during 1850-1930. It was then used as a landfill until the 1950s.
As depressing as it was, it felt like treasure hunting or opening up a time capsule. All the while, the consequences of our ecological footprint were staring us in the face.
You can see where the tide continues to erode away at the landfill.
When the tide came in and out, it sounded like wind chimes.
Our dark tourist vacation to the Mütter Museum already being in Philly, this was a must stop.
By far one of the coolest places I’ve ever been in my life.💀🐎🌴
