regarding the swordpost about beheading your father, i have a blast saying that any offhand remark about parricide is something to do with swain, but actually i don't think he beheaded his parents. in my world and therefore in the version of events i have completely fabricated, i choose to believe that darkwill wanted to test his loyalty and also was a cruel man overall and stripped all the black rose "conspirators" of any right to a quick or noble death. so whatever swain did to them was much more gruesome than a beheading
