I couldn’t describe this track better myself. What I will say is that Darling James’ latest release is a lot of fun to listen to (maybe it is something to do with that exotic instrumentation).

I somehow managed to egregiously miss the debut of Darling James last year. Fortunately, the outfit created by Melbourne based artist James O’Brien has released a new song, one that was sitting pretty and prim in my treasure filled inbox. The Itch is certainly an indie darling, a vociferous and titillating eruption of jarring drum work and lushly mesmerizing synths. The synth rocking dazzler darts and twists dynamically, an utterly riveting psychedelia and glitch permeated track from a debut EP in the works.
