Honestly? Darren was constantly a dick to Samantha about her being a witch. He’d go on and on about how she needed to be more normal, and not use witchcraft, but beg and plead with her to use witchcraft to help him.
Samantha should’ve left him as soon as she realized he was a douche and lived her best life as the sassy witch she is
Dream Gig: Head writer on a reboot of "Bewitched"
Instead of misogyny and the husband forcing the wife to fit the "subruban housewife" archtype and erase her unique qualities in order to fit in, it'd be cute and funny, where Darren very much loves his witch wife, and tries to support her in her attempts to find a place in the human world (b/c part of the story in the original show was that witches didn't live w/ mortals and Samantha was very out of touch).
Samantha is probably kind of, like, the Rose Quartz "facinated by humans" type and wants to be part of that, since witch life is kind of boring (they were kinda all powerful, unlimited magic in the show). She's just been able to *poof* whatever she's wanted, like, it's a whole "gilded cage" scenario, and she wants to actually have experiences and work to be a better person.
Ofc there's the "she's very idealistic about humans, he's kinda cynical" dynamic, but what they take from each other isn't so much entirely rewriting their world views, it's more like a new perspective. Samantha makes peace with the fact that, while she may believe the best of people, it won't always be the case, but that doesn't make humans or their world a bad place, because there's always good somewhere, and Darren opens himself up to the wonder a bit more, that yeah, it's important to be skeptical and cautious, but that shouldn't make him discount the amazing things around him, and sometimes, a good thing is just a good thing, and you need to enjoy it.
Ofc they'd have their ups and downs, but that's just being married, and they're both dedicated to making it work.
I used to really like Bewitched okay?

Fast bowlers generally take a couple of deliveries to loosen up themselves before bowler at in their normal rhythm. Fast bowling isn’t an easy job and demands a lot physically, especially if it’s a four-day game.
But, sometimes, bowler tend to do bit silly things. They try something else and end up with a completely awkward result.…
