please forgive me for being dumb but can you explain what a blazed cat is (i know it's not this but i keep thinking of a cat out of their minds on catnip 😂)

Yesterday Tumblr did a thing where if you Tumblr Blazed your cat photo it would reach 2x the audience. I just called a cat is saw on Tumblr Blaze a blazed cat haha. Didn’t see too many of them yesterday unfortunately, but the couple i saw were super cute!

crumble recipe plz

i made this for three people to eat for dinner, worked out pretty well portions-wise. i also made vanilla custard for six people, no leftovers either. the custard was tasty

preheat oven to 200°C (which is 390°F apparently)

mix 400g rhubarb and 20g brown sugar in a casserole dish

in a different bowl, use hand to mix 75g plain flour + 40g ground almonds + 30g brown sugar + a pinch of salt + 85g grated butter until roughly combined, put in freezer for ten minutes, crumble over rhubarb

put in oven for 30 minutes, sprinkle 30g chopped almonds over it, back in oven for 5 minutes

start eating immediately, burn mouth

according to theguardian.co.uk (where i read this recipe) you can put a bit of grated ginger in with the rhubarb but sadly i was vetoed :(

this is probably petty, but the fact that they gave Rian Johnson 3 more movies without even waiting to see if people like this one makes me not want to like it

What bothers me is how everyone keeps emphasizing that TLJ takes the characters in “unexpected” directions and that it’s “different” and “surprising.” Like, yeah, to some degree that’s a good thing, but I can’t shake the feeling that the fun of the series is going to be razed in favor of making it “darker” and “edgier” and that it’ll continue their perversion of the meaning of “hope” (AKA that it’s built on a pile of corpses and shattered dreams).

If that’s the direction the Sequel Trilogy is going to take then I can only imagine Rian’s independent trilogy doubling down on that shit and being even worse. I know the OT wasn’t all rainbows and purring tookas, but please please please, can we not make everything gritty grimdark happiness-is-fleeting? Reality is bad enough, I don’t need my space adventures to make me MORE depressed.

I don’t trust anything about Star Wars anymore. And I especially don’t trust this sudden overwhelming faith in Rian Johnson.
