Agreed. Also the Abbot doesn't even seem to be a real Forgemaster. He's a hack who bought some expensive tech to manufacture weapons, and I'd be surprised if he even read or understands the user manual. Hector and Isaac are to the Abbot what Michaelangelo and Botticelli are to a college student screwing around with ChatGPT.

I am so happy to see Ezra! And Thrawn! And the Chimera! Besides seeing Hera and Jacen and Lothal and Sabine, it was literally the first time I smiled and felt like Rebels was back and respected in some way.

But I still do not trust Dave Filoni and await the moment he fucks them.

I don't even know what to think of the Ahsoka show. I'm gonna watch it, but I've never been more grudging about a SW show as I am this one. I just don't trust SW to do Rebels right.

Sometimes it's hard being a fic writer and knowing that I'm never going to get the same level of validation fan artists do, purely bc the 'quality' is not readily (visually) apparent and there is something uncomfy about responding to writing and writers.

It's just something I've thought about for a long time. I'm not angry at fan artists or readers (I'm very grateful to my readership and love them dearly), it's just a reality that has always made me chomp at the bit.

The thing I find I love most about the prospect of the Ahsoka show is... that were going to see so much of Lothal. Like. If I could live in the gffa, I would hands down choose to settle on Lothal every day of the week. Open spaces. Big sky. Natural beautiful scenery. Excellent wildlife. Force connected. Perfection.

Well I'm happy it's looking like Lars Mikkelsen is playing Thrawn. With such an iconic voice I'd have been disappointed otherwise. Good for him.
