Daryl found you while he was stalking a deer 

You had been sleeping in a tree and had just climbed down when you heard foot steps

He interrogated you violently, and you learned that his name was Daryl

Carol was one of the first to greet you, she smiled at you and then commented about Daryl seemed happier than usual 

He was more friendly to you than others but you didn’t know that
