All time favorites:
Kraftwerk - Die Mensch-Maschine
31 day Rammstein challenge
Day three - favorite single
I love Das Modell single. It is amazing cover of the song originally by Kraftwerk, I like it much more than original one, which is no surprise, because I do not like Kraftwerk music at all =D Anyway... Not only it is great song, but together with it two more great songs were in the single - Kokain and Alter Mann. And that is not all. It also had Rammstein PC game! I think there is not enought talk about this game =D
And that is not all! We also get this weird crazy video of making of never published music video. Das Modell is terribly underrated single with so many amazing bonus material!
You are listening to
But in your mind will be always
🥲
But of course this is a fake because all kraftwerk boys are unfeeling insensitive inhuman emotionless robots who can't joke about typical humanity feelings like love and sexual desires /s
Kraftwerk's interesting career remains a great case study of a slow progress towards reaching the heights, but we must admit they weren't quite pop. Of course, they achieved several commercial successes and they influenced a multitude of musicians, yet they couldn't be seen as the hitmakers. However, they have this reputation somehow, though I assume The Man-Machine is probably responsible for this. The latter record might be the closest thing they did to a pop album, because several tunes from there became standards. You can hear one of them in the link, but we have to be honest – there's something intensely sad about this piece. Sure, you notice a couple of weird moments, the voice that speaks in favour of sparkling wine startles us, though the song portrays a depressive person.

1978: Kraftwerk / Das Modell
