Some broken letterforms I've been working on for an upcoming project on Creole languages. These ones ended up being swept under the rug pretty quickly because they were too hard to read. Still pretty cool though. The working name is "LangLiTch" but I think it's a bit cliché maybe...
The letterforms here that I've datamoshed are screenshots of text from The History of British India by James Mill. This text is pretty significant to the history of India, because it's sort of the foundation text of colonialism – it divides Indian history into roughly 3 parts, the first being Ancient history, the second being Islamic history and the last being the part where Europe saves India from itself.
