AHAHA I DID IT I DID IT

full disclosure: I didn't do it the legitimate way. But since I couldn't find anything other than the legitimate way- here's a litte guide to help you out.

(most of it relies on timing though, I think no-one can help you with that. To that I say: trying, trying, trying!)

I jumped up the two violet leaf roofs and climbed the mountain wall instead of precise-jumping all those platforms.

Then I was basically at the level you fall onto, if you mess up the last jump- and i had to drop down to that wooden platform.

Follow the obvious pathway- and if you fall, well.. It's annoying but not impossible. I think I just got impatient and tried to speedrun it.

So if you fall right before the datacron (which I did mulitple times) DON'T give up and start at the beginning. Go left around the corner and you should end up, where you previously dropped down on the wooden planks (last image).

Maybe jump a little left, when trying to reach the last Platform.

So there you have it! An alternative path.

So this process is new to me, since i’m datacron collecting for the first time. But did they ever bother to upgrade these things for 5.0? If not, should i bother hanging on to them? Thanks.

Funny thought about Kira while playing SWTOR tonight...

So i’m finally going after all the Datacrons with my latest iteration of Corellan. Its early on, so Kira is my selected companion while I sent T7, Tweek, Nico, Shae and HK-51 on the crew missions.  So as most of you know, Datacron hunting can be frustrating. There are a lot of places where you can miss a jump and fall down and have to start over, and i’ve been dealing with this the last few nights. Like seriously, some of them are taking me 10 attempts or more. I’m sure those of us who played Super Mario Brothers back in the day have it easier, but sadly that’s not me. It suddenly occurred to me tonight that if Kira were actually watching my JK continue to embarrass himself by missing his jumps and falling off buildings and stacks of crates, she’d probably be laughing at him by now. Like, seriously, the zingers would be brutal.  Sigh.
