Sleepy Rex on his sleepy speeder taking a sleep break on Onderon
Just relized Anakin is the father of the rebellion in a way. During the Onderon arc in the Clone Wars, Anakin, Obi-wan, and Ahsoka go train a small rebel group on Onderon to help them rebel against the sepertist government and Anakin is a huge part of this. One of the members of this rebel cell is none other than Saw Gererra who is a major part of the rebellion against the empire. So in a way Anakin taught the rebels that would eventually bring him down later in life. This also leads you to wonder, how would Saw react if he learned one of the most feared Sith Lords in the galaxy is the man that trained him all those years ago?
Stopp I might be about to start my period because I almost teared up when I finished my clone wars episode and anakin and obi wan were talking and obi wan called ahsoka "our padawan"

.
AAAAAAAHHHHH
Oh also this episode DEFINITELY contributed to ahsoka leaving the order
[doing the thing again where i play one blorbo thru story content and accidentally end up having thoughts for another one at the same time] nik + the saboteur storyline in the later expac content not because he gives a shit about the conflict between the empire and the republic. the empire could choose to bomb coruscant again tomorrow and he would not cry about it, but... because he spent all those years in intelligence telling himself he didn't care. because it was easier not to care.
it's easier if he stares at his own two feet and doesn't engage with the xenophobia as an oppressive system-level cage. it's easier if he keeps his head down and follows orders and doesn't think about the autonomy they strip-mine from entire populations and societies, like balmorra. it's easier if all he cares about is his own lonely life, just trying to get through the next battle, the next assignment, the end of the day.
and he hates being an animal in a cage. he hates the way they look at him like he is one. the entitlement of the system that allows half of them to do it. and he hates that when they - inevitably - get a reaction out of him, it only serves to look like he's proving them right. because there's only so much pressure he can tolerate from the boot against his throat.
this thought brought to you by onderon's crisis of ruling royalty, nobility supposedly running day-to-day activities, a republic senator, and a group that claims to support old ways before any greater galactic power arrived at their doorstep. and that maybe, nik would see all of that, and, again... he's so sick and tired of it.
it's a lonely life, pretending one does not care. and he can't help but...
but it sure as hell isn't about the republic. it's about making those imperial bastards choke on their hells-damned pride for once. it's about wrestling for that choice with bared teeth and bloodied lips in the dirt and muck. as long as you don't care too much about his reasons, he'll play your little games, balkar. keeper was aware of this. keeper did not ask him to overstay his instincts.
and nik will still play both sides. because for better or worse, he's still so... alone. and there's only so much pressure - from the boot, from mortality's own swinging blade - that he can bear to risk.
desperation's a dangerous mistress to start laying with when considering that.
might color this in later
Fact Files #96
Which planet would you most like to see in season 2 of Andor?
Onderon (Saw's planet, always has interesting politics)
Naboo (still beautiful or has it gone wrong?)
Alderaan (Cassian on Alderaan = most doomed combo)
Chandrila (s1 got me hyped for Planet Mormon)
Lothal (radio reporter arc feat. the Bridgers?)
another planet
no legacy planets!🙅♂️ only new planets!!
