Hey, I’m a f2p naux player. We just got Kairi EX today in a Falling Price deal (way too soon imo) and I have about 27000 jewels saved up. I know Kairi EX is really good but she’s not guaranteed (no surprise) and no idea on when we’ll be getting Ava EX or if she’ll even be guaranteed. Should I try to pull for Kairi, or save up for Ava? Thanks!

Wait for Friday’s new premium banner. If it is Marluxia EX [M], then that means we can expect to see the foretellers EX in December… 

But otherwise, go and make 5 pulls for Kairi EX [M] now, probably have it spread out too because maybe your luck will change everyday. If you think the gap between f2p and whales was huge, it’ll get even worse with Kairi EX [M], so do make some attempts to get her and you MUST spend SOME of your jewels so you can tell yourself you tried getting Kairi EX [M].

If you do get Kairi EX [M], then you want to save up for either Dual Wield Roxas EX [P], because he gives RAU+2 for 2 turns, if and ONLY IF Ava EX [M] is not guaranteed. If Ava EX [M] is guaranteed, go and get Ava EX [M] if you can mercy her.

If you don’t have Kairi EX [M], you want to save for Ira EX [P], FF Sora HD [S], or Days Riku [M], because these give UAU+1 for at least 1 turn (Ira EX [P] gives UAU+1 for 2 turns). Or, if you are willing to spend money for VIP, Key Art 14 [S] gives UAU+1 for 1 turn as well. If possible, go and get Ira EX [P] because he does’t decrease the counter on enemies and the UAU+1 buff lasts for 2 turns, meaning you can get UAU+2 on the second turn.

This information is really outdated. The global version has fixed a lot of this in several updates. Like the keyblades having multiple decks and medals stacking.

A lot of these things have been brought over like jewel dailies being continuous and stacking medals and separate decks but it still. Much stingier with free jewels and worse deals and no Brooms is enough alone to, even if everything other than these three things were resolved, still put the INT servers M I L E S behind JP

that being said, my biggest issues with the global version (no m&bs, worse draw boxes, stingier with free jewels) still stand.

there are still enough people who don’t know japanese but would like to play the jp version to give this blog a purpose, though! i know people who play global just for the story but will play jp for events/coliseum/etc., and i’ll still try my best to help everyone who wants to play the jp version.

Takeru’s looking at him from a couple of tables away. Yusaku looks back at him, confused. Why is he looking at him? What does he want?

Then Yusaku notices the list of songs in Takeru’s hands.

Is he having trouble picking out a song? It’s probably something like that. Why is he looking to Yusaku for help? He’s on his own. Takeru got himself into this mess by deciding to participate, and now he’ll have to get himself out of it. That, or ask Flame. Yusaku isn’t helping him.

He looks away from Takeru and drinks more coffee. Kusanagi’s song is almost over, and Yusaku still wishes he was in his apartment instead. Roboppy wouldn’t do this to him.

All Star is just ending now. Honestly, Takeru thinks Kusanagi did a good job with it, but really, Kusanagi had fun and that’s the most important thing.

As soon as the music stops, Takeru jumps out of his seat and runs over to Yusaku.

“Hey, we’re up next!”

Before Yusaku has a chance to protest, Takeru pulls Yusaku out of his seat.

Wait. What?

Yusaku notices Takeru approaching him, but he doesn’t register Takeru’s intent until suddenly he’s not sitting down anymore. Takeru isn’t about to make him sing, is he? Oh no. That’s not happening.

Yusaku’s frustrated. He wants to go look for Jin, he wants to go search in Vrains until he can’t stand anymore, but he can’t.

Or rather, he shouldn’t. Waiting for the enemy to make the next move is much more logical, and Yusaku hates it.

He’s not the only one. The rest of their little group all feels the same, more or less. Nothing’s happened for a couple of days, and the waiting has everyone tense.

Surprisingly, it’s Kusanagi who suggests karaoke. Even with his brother missing, he’s still worried about the moral of the only group. Karaoke will be a fun distraction, he says. Cafe Nagi hosts it in a remote location after closing; the event is for the invited only, after all.

A fun distraction? Yeah right. It’s just another annoyance Yusaku’s being forced into. He can’t wait until the night has ended.

Kusanagi sings the first song of the event, picking All Star by Smash Mouth. Yusaku sips from his coffee mug as he watches, his face entirely blank. Kusanagi making a fool of himself in front of everyone only convinces Yusaku further this whole idea is stupid.

He wants to go home.
