It was still confusing; the Hollow Bastion that Sora and Riku both knew of, was way different than the Hollow Bastion (excuse them, Radiant Garden) it is today. It wasn’t gloomy, and its citizens were back, too! This’d still take some getting used to, for the two of them, but hey, they can deal with it.
As they continued walking, Riku had accidentally bumped into someone.
“... Sorry about that.” the silver haired boy said.

Nothing was going on in the Datascape that needed Sora or Riku’s immediate attention. Well, nothing bad at least. It was just a regular day in that realm, which equated to boredom, according to the brunette. So what better way than to spend it outside of the computer, at Disney Town?
And lucky them, it was time for the annual Dream Festival! A ton of activities going on, excitement, the residents of Disney Town putting up fun games, and--!
“Oof!” Sora had run into someone head on, and with him being the lightweight that he was, he fell to the floor almost immediately. Riku could do nothing but sigh as he approached the scene.
“Sorry about my friend” Riku began, not bothering to help the brunette up, or even look at the person in front of them “He’s way too excited for his own good.”

There have been times Sora had debated on giving more focus on his magic stats rather than his attack stats. Riku had the latter covered, after all; he was like some sort of glass cannon. A very fragile glass cannon.
He had to take a short trip to Hollow Bastion (now called Radiant Garden), as per the King’s orders, to meet with someone named... Tron? Okay, King Mickey said something more like ‘find someone from the’ something something ‘committee and ask them about Tron.’ This could’ve been way easier if he had just told him where ‘Tron’ is! Whoever/Whatever Tron was.
And that was how he found himself lost in this world, and also having ugly run ins with numerous Heartless. He had run out magic against a particular bunch of the creatures, who were impervious to physical attacks, and now he was cornered in an area of the place.
“This is so not my day...” the data boy moaned, as the Heartlesses got closer.

Well, this was certainly new.
With his world hopping adventures still on-going(of course, with Riku’s permission), Sora had been visiting worlds that were not only mentioned by the journal, but entirely new ones as well, due to the nature of his travels. Currently, the brunette had found himself in a world that had two continents, the one where he was currently in being mostly inhabited by Users-- no, humans. He had to remember they were (mostly) called humans. It was busy, crowded, but he can’t help but feel sad at the things happening in the back of it all. Were humans really this selfish?
(Of course, he partially knew the answer to that. That’s what spurred the big bad that was Ansem to find Kingdom Hearts, and for the real Riku to open the Door at Destiny Islands.)
Trying to navigate through one area, Sora had tried to keep himself busy (in order not to dwell even more on where his thoughts were going), before bumping into someone unexpectedly.
“S-Sorry about that!” the brunette apologized, immediately bowing his head to solidify how sorry he was.

Maybe it should surprise him that Riku was hugging him tightly. Was something wrong?
“Riku? What’s up?”

Being outside the datascape was a risky move for both Sora and Riku. It hampered their abilities, due to not being within the safety of their home ‘world’. But it’s for the sake of discovering something new, Sora had insisted, and that’s what landed them here.
So far, it had been uneventful, seeing nothing but grass and pavement, something Sora was disappointed at, but Riku was grateful for.
“There has to be something interesting here!” the brunet pouted, tugging at his friend’s sleeve. “And we’re not leaving this world until we find at least an inhabitant!”
... Which was something the journal’s vessel feared he’d hear the other say.

“Y’know...” Sora randomly began, spinning on his butt to look at the taller real version of himself-- Err, the older version of the person he was modeled off of “Pushing aside the fact that your heart is kinda housing a fragment of a bad guy’s, you look pretty cool with yellow eyes.”
