Last year National Geographic reached out to bassist Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell to discuss Linkin Park’s ‘Power The World‘ initiative, read here. Since then Linkin Park has brought their initiative on a whole new level by releasing LP RECHARGE free Facebook game to raise awareness, a remix album called RECHARGED and a brand new song w/ Steve Aoki called A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES to promote the cause. Power The World’s latest project is to bring biogas systems in Kumrose village, Nepal to prevent deforestation, protect the wildlife and health of its residents. Fundraiser page here.
