Today, 30 years ago „News Radio“ premiered on NBC. The Multi-Cam Sitcom was created and developed by Paul Simms, aired from 1995-1999 and has 97 Episodes in 5 Seasons.
The day before shooting the Pilot Episode Maura Tierney was casted as Lisa Miller. So she joined the cast on a very short notice.
Someday I’m going to write newsradio fanfiction because it’s absurdly gay and I have an itch to make the funny silly comedy show extremely dark and deep.
I’m so amused by the fact that Lisa is just *that* much more productive than Dave at all times…… that’s so Lisa
