Dave Matthews Virgin Island Benefit Concert
On January 6th, 2018 Dave Matthews performed a (benefit) concert tonight, which was put together to benefit virgin island recovery efforts, an effort which is still underway and underfunded. In September 2016, Hurricane Irma devastated the islands and surrounding areas. The concert was performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and was reunited with long-time friend and musician Trey Anastasio. Other artists included Aaron Neville and Hurray for the Riff Raff.
The set started Dave Solo, but then started inviting guested onstage, including Rashawn Ross. Check out the setlist, some video highlights & pictures on jambase.com!

Things seemed to be looking up for the group; Finn was back; Dave had his team all back, all recovered and ready to go; Storm was a new addition that would kick ass.
The only problem was Sandy, and how he kicked every ass that challenged him...they weren't ready...they should move on. Staying and challenging Sandy over and over would be an exercise in futility...
Dave was pulled out of his thoughts by Storm, who had dropped his apple...which he had been holding over Dave's head, standing on his shoulder. So...auch! Apples weren't the lightest of things!
Dave retrieved and handed the apple back to the Pichu as he massaged his head with the other, seeing the rest of his party munching on fruit, berries, and other foods out of his periphery. They seemed content right now...that made Dave happy...
