Almost finished with our Crossfit Garage Gym #titancrossfitnorimbergense I was hit by a severe blow of fate in the form of a brutal muscle injury: The injuries affect the hamstrings on both sides: on the left there is a torn muscle fiber (muscle fascicle) which, however, does not affect the enthesis and is intact as far as possible; on the right we are talking about a torn tendon that should not be surgically restored, as some complications speak against it. However, it is assumed that one of the two biceps femoris tendon attachments on the ischium is still intact. I don't need to explain to any athlete what such an injury means to me! Even if I know that it will take a longer period of time to heal this injury, I would like to use the time with an adapted training plan in my pocket with which I can at least continue to train my upper body. The legs must slowly recover with a recovery program (Recovery / Cardio / Endurance / Mobility). The goals of a training plan should be: (1) upper body - maintaining the muscles and/or building up strength with minimal load on the legs when performing or implementing the exercise / always with the aim of returning to Crossfit training later (2) legs - recovery of the damaged muscles, slow build-up of strength and flexibility. With the aim of increasingly complex exercises up to Crossfit training. t's a major setback, but I'm coming back #crossfit #crossfitgames #davecastro https://www.instagram.com/p/CSCcyyOoPea/?utm_medium=tumblr
