David “Dave” Reid Farber was born to Arnold Bruce Farber and Sadie (Pounds) Farber in Lyons, Nebraska on December 19, 1934. He was the youngest boy, and 10th of 12 children. I don't have any faith in the efficacy of politics...I'm political--I vote and hustle and hike, fight and scream. Nonviolently. I don't know what to do. We just try. I read everything I can read and go to all the demonstrations...I don't know.
