Just got & haven’t yet priced or posted a listing for these folk art knights in hanging shadowbox displays. I took them apart, cleaned the glass & re-armed the knight whose sword was at his feet. These are in very good vintage condition. The shadowboxes are 23.5 inches tall 11.5 inches wide & have a depth of 6.5 inches. Made in April of 1960 these were crafted, restored & signed by a craftsperson by the name of Dave Rubin from Springfield Massachusetts (1915-2003) “He was a well-known art and antique restorer around the Northeast. He did restorative work at the Smithsonian and other museums in the area. Besides his antique knowledge he was a professional photographer. He did a radio show in the Springfield area called Mister Fixit for several years. David also formulated Rubin-Brite Polish that is still on the market. He also sold this product and his photographs at the Big E for 25 years.” (source-https://obits.masslive.com/us/obituaries/masslive/name/david-rubin-obituary?pid=1678524) #stanezzedalmondo #folkartknights #shadowboxes #armor #DavidRubin https://www.instagram.com/p/CWhnUAFMHzj/?utm_medium=tumblr
