So back during 4.5 I wrote about a WoL doing this sidequest ritual “The Fingers of Azim” to pray for help, any help, to bring their fallen friends’ wandering souls home and now two and a half years post-Shadowbringers later redoing the quests on another alt I am just. Yeah. The side-eyes are strong.
Screenshot transcript: Charakha: You have finished the ritual, I take it? Very good. Then, please allow me to share with you the meaning behind this practice. Charakha: You see, the five stones upon which you poured the kumis are also referred to as the “fingers of Azim.” This ritual is way of showing him our respect and allows us to receive his guidance. Charakha: If he deems our desire great enough, he will carve a path for us to achieve it. Though, that is not to say we can simply sit back and relax. We must also work hard to fulfill our dreams. Charakha: Father Azim sees all and hears all. Your wishes have reached him and, should he deem you worthy, he shall grant them unto you.

♪ ♪ There are times where I do miss home. I often daydream of it too..
There I am, gazing out to that large Throne from a distance, marveling at it's circular splendor. Missing the feel of the cold river water of Onsal Hakir, as I cheer the men on as they catch fish to provide for their tribe (even though they tell me that I am too loud and that I frighten the fish).
How can I not dream of your beautiful green lands? Feel the heat of the sun blaring away at my back? Or even helping those who tend to their sheep at night?
As far as I am from home, my heart will only sing for that one place that I hold dear to my heart. One day, I will return. When I do? I will sing like never before, the Steppe always calls its children home. ♪ ♪
