Diavolo sways from side to side with you, humming softly into your ear. You two decided to have a secret rendezvous at the gazebo after dinner and when the crickets and frogs started to sing, he asked you to dance. It wasn’t so much dancing as it was hugging and swaying back and forth.
He suddenly stops and makes you pull away to look at him. You squeal when he spins you and holds your back to his front, giggles escaping you as he wraps his strong arms around your waist. “There’s a shooting star. Make a wish,” he whispers into your ear.
You tilt your head back and look up at the sky, finding the shooting star quickly. You watch it with a smile on your face, your body leaning into Diavolo’s. “Why would I make a wish when I have everything I want right here with me?” you ask softly. He hums in your ear before spinning you around to face him again.
“When did you become such a smooth talker?” he teases, lowering his face closer to yours.
“When I realized that the Lord Diavolo isn’t as big and bad as he seems. You’re just a soft teddy bear that likes hearing sugar-sweet words,” you tease right back with a smirk. He chuckles at this before finally connecting your lips, the kiss barely lasting since you two are smiling too much.
“I love you, my lord.” Another laugh from him.
“I love you more, my star,” he whispers before giving you another kiss. Guess he’s adding a new pet name to the already long list.
