Day 12 - Saddest Anime Series
Wow, this one is a hard one, considering that I watch a lot of sad anime stuff
Since I used Bokurano, that's obviously tossed out into eternity, but that still reserves most of my heart in terms of sadness
I'm going to have to go with an old classic here, Clannad.
Yes, everything Clannad.
The VN, Movie, and both anime series still get to me.
ESPECIALLY THE VN, I HAD TO TURN OFF MY COMPUTER AND WALK AWAY AND SOB IN MY BATHROOM. I WON'T FORGET THAT.
I could just go on, and on about how sad Clannad is, but then I would end up spoiling myself and sobbing.
Especially that -After Story- shit. God dammit.
This anime has probably the most realistic characters in any anime possible (obviously that means something), each having their own personalities, and own backstory. Though some of their personalities can be seen as 'generic', their amazing character development and back story will keep you coming back for more.
It's pretty cool too, because each character has a specific role with every other character. Not many anime's have that these day.
TL;DR, if you love character development and love having your heart ripped out you should watch this.
