Important things from the recent SV preview event:
Day/Night cycle from Arceus returns. Aka it’s not tied to real-world time (THANK GOD).
When you begin the game, you select one of the basic 8 preselects, but then go straight into customizing them more (something I’ve wanted since XY!).
You can change all cosmetics besides hair (and something else I forgot) at ANY time!
BOTH hair styles and clothing can be used for both genders! In fact I don’t think it actually ask you to choose between boy or girl. (In any case, I can finally have a boy trainer with actual long hair!)
SHINYS SHOW UP IN THE OVERWORLD LIKE IN ARCEUS. But be careful, using the “Let’s Go” function will kill them if you’re not paying attention.
