it’s a day late, but Raiders is finally here!

perfect timing too, i just got to Costal de Sol in my replay of FF7Rebith, good timing for a break in that game (so i don’t get burned out like i did in my original playthrough) as well as theming (in a way)!

still pretty early in, but i’m loving this game so far! so much fun (and it’s great not being in subspace zones)

never played Super Princess Peach, but i heard it’s actually pretty solid!

so during the recent Pikachu event, i was dreading getting a perfect costume Pikachu that couldn’t evolve into Raichu. And while I never found one, I did just get this one through the free battle pass for the current anniversary event.

It can’t evolve, but before I had the chance to whine about it, this hatch literally a couple seconds later:

“well it’s not necessary to use the mechanic, why don’t you just not use it if you want more of a challenge? like how pokemon players do nuzlocks?”

“but it’s in the game! i have to use every mechanic in the game!”

“…but you don’t? no one putting a gun to your head to make you do it.”

“no i have to! i hate it, but it’s in the game, so why wouldn’t i use it?! that’s why this game is bad!”

I’ve been replaying FF7R series, and man, going to Rebirth RIGHT after Remake feels incredible.

Combat-wise; it’s what I imagine DBZ characters feel when they take off weighted clothing. I remember it feeling different, but not this different. It’s great!

Exploration-wise; it feels so good to have so much space to run around in. Like going outside after being stuck indoors all day.

While there are some things I’m dreading going back too, it’s still fun to come back to this game. I love it so much 🥰

so apparently there are Missing Link leaks on 4chan or something

idk if they’re real or not, i’m personally gonna avoid them for now (well i did see what is supposedly a cutscene or opening cutscene for it, but i’m taking it with a grain of salt). Missing Link’s story seems too important to completely scrap.

while i don’t have much in Square’s business side, they are (surprisingly) being incredibly good on making their mobile games into full, actual game, ports lately. and i have faith we’ll get a KH collection with The X Saga, Dark Road, and Missing Link (hopefully before 2028 as well as KH4 since it seems important for the plot).

I guess Game Freak invited people to try out their new game, Beast of Reincarnation, recently. And unfortunately (for me) it does sound like it’s a Souls-like game.

I’ll still give it the ol’ college try, but i don’t have high hopes of it clicking for me, since i don’t enjoy Souls-like gameplay.

There is a “story mode” option, so at least there’s something to fall back on if i’m not having fun.

you know how nintendo made the talking flower from Wonder into an actual talking flower irl?

fangamer should do that with Flowerly as merch. have it as the normal flower but with his face in the middle of it. randomly saying his voice clips at random times in the day.

it’s been forever since i’ve done a 7star raid in SV, but here they are! The Mightiest Magikarp and Gyarados (transferred one from my Violet save)!

idk why i never did multiple raids for Pikachu, Eevee, and Porygon2 to get Mighty Marks for their evolutions… well maybe not eevee, i ain’t making THAT many save files 😭😅
