I was tagged by @ladyvean to talk about 5 good things that happened in 2018.

1. My granddaughter and my littlest niece were born, two weeks apart so I think I can count it as one event!

2. I started a new job, a bit bumpy but way better than job I was at before.

3. I went to STLV which was such a fantastic experience.

4. Hit some writing goals I’m proud of.

5. Living with my partner and mother-in-law, which every sitcom says should be hilariously awful, has actually been and continues to be an amazing experience.

Hey fam! We were just talking about you and when you came to our library during NaNoWriMo a couple years back. I told my boss you'd published a new book and she was so happy! So shout-out from us back in the swamps of Florida - and also thanks for still following my crazy ass :P

I showed a good friend the drawing of Bashir and Garak dancing I did for @dayoldhakarl‘s fic “My Fair Bashir” (it’s great, go read it…) and she urged me to colour it. So here’s the result.

Sadly my scanner sucks so I had to use my phone hence the gray background.

 Julian leapt up and grabbed Kukalaka, holding him close. It was a dream. Just a very, very terrible dream.

 “Oh god,” he whispered over and over into his teddy bear’s ear as he rocked himself to and fro.

Julian’s in a bad place in chapter 5 of My Fair Bashir. @dayoldhakarl lets our disaster Doctor go through a lot (and the readers too).
