WinterIron + stripper au?

Bucky won’t lie and say he’s a stripper for altruistic reasons--yeah, his tips pay for rent, groceries, and a good chunk of Steve’s art school tuition, and he loves that Steve is getting to go to college for something he’s passionate about, but mostly he loves how sexy he feels as people go wild for him when he strips, especially when he takes to the pole and shows off what the muscles everyone is staring at can do. So people might call him vain or arrogant or stuck-up when they hear that; those people don’t go back to their dressing room with hundreds of dollars in their panties.

So of course his dumb ass falls in love with one of his customers, a man with wide eyes, lips that do wicked things to the straw of his drinks, and clever fingers that flutter over his skin when they tuck money into his briefs, a man he’d love to take back to his dressing room and maul until he can’t even remember that Bucky is a stripper.

Thank you, darling. She was ready to go, and Pod was apparently ready to be the only cat who gets cuddles, all the cuddles, all the damn time now.

yay!!! a fellow fan!!

I mean, there’s multiple ways to do this and I like thinking about them all, but my current favorite is this:

I know that Bucky usually has the bad boy niche cornered, but I think for this one Tony is going to be the asshole with the surprising heart. And, in a move that the Spirit World didn’t see coming, Tony sacrifices himself and doesn’t end up having a place in Death yet SO

Phil Coulson has an offer for him, communicated on behalf of Fury who is in charge of the Death! 

Tony gets the ordeal to come back to life, with the surprising realization that Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy (or Jarvis??) care more than he expected and he would actually be missed by the living. So Tony goes through with it and gets resurrected, yay!! And Tony becomes a Spirit Detective who protects the human world from demons.

And some of those demons just so happen to be Bucky & Steve!! Going to have to tweak the stories & personalities to fit, but I’m thinking Bucky with Kurama’s powers and Steve with Hiei’s. Why? Because I want Bucky to pull roses from his gorgeous hair (and has weird memory issues with another life??), and I want the fun contrast of honorable Steve Rogers with the powers of the Dragon of the Darkness Flame. 

I still have 2 seasons left to mull this over!!! ;)

Thank you! I set it aside because I didn’t know how I wanted to continue with it but I’m finding I’m getting ideas for it again.

Snippet:

Normally, kits would stay with their parents until they were at least thirty, maybe thirty-five years old. They mentally aged slower than humans even if their bodies did not, at least in the beginning; and since dragons only had one child, even male dragons liked to have their children nearby to make sure they were surviving alright.

Tony’s parents died when he was twenty. He stood by their headstones, nodded along to the preacher’s quiet platitudes, and didn’t snarl at the other funeral-goers who expressed their condolences. He waited until everyone ‘important’ left before he reached out and pressed his fingers to the headstones. He left scratches that would need to be buffed out, the stones purposely thicker than they needed to be for that reason specifically, and dug sharp teeth into the corner of his mother’s headstone and broke it off.

Obadiah finally pulled him away, wiped the blood dribbling from the corner of his mouth. “I’m sorry, Tony,” he said, and actually looked like he meant it. He must have looked pathetic. “Go with Rhodes.”

Tony turned, looked at Rhodey standing somberly by his car, waiting to drive him home. He wanted to stay with his parents’ graves a little longer, but he knew it would bring him no comfort. Their bodies weren’t even there.
