now dbmk has a lot of lyrics about changing who you are out of a want to Be something to someone, but this song in particular just screams c!quackity to me.

shut my mouth has a lot of themes of loneliness and attempts to alleviate it via desirability, and the repetition of being "pretty enough" to entice people to fall in love or even just be around ties in so well to the way quackity's constantly refining his image into something else, something more polished as well as his consistent reminders to people that he is alone.

there's also a line that says "i was only 20 when it all played out" and while cquackity was only 19 when The Trauma™️ began... it's close enough. he was 20 when he lost a life, lost his loves and his best friend, and started his spiral into letting his loneliness become violent (another line in the song!)
