DBS 119 Thoughts
You know, Quitela might’ve been a scumbag with the least graceful elimination so far, but I’ll be darned if I’m not super fond of the U4 team. They may not have had the best showing in the tournament, but they’re all really cool fighters that I’d love to see more of.
On the topic of elimination, I think it’s interesting to see a contrast between this episode and last week. U2 and U6 both went out like pros, gracefully accepting their defeat. Quitela, meanwhile, was about to start destroying people and probably would’ve attacked Zeno if he had the chance. I dunno, it’s simple, but I liked the contrast.
Man, though, it feels weird to see so many universe drop out so quickly. End of the tournament hype intensifies!

Piccolo did well.
When Goku caught no.17, I was like: “couldn’t you have caught Piccolo as well?” But than I realise that they needed no.17 to defeat that enemy. Being the more knowledgeable of animals/bugs he was the perfect person to defeat it. That’s why Toriyama decided he couldn’t fall yet.
Universe 4 was erased. That rat was all about cheap tricks.
