Winter White Blowout: Day 2

Today was the second day of our Winter White Blowout sale at Ellie's Bridal Boutique. The shop was a whirlwind of activity all day as dozens of brides poured through the doors to find their dream dress at a bargain price.

We had brides of every style and personality find their dresses among our selection. As I walked around the shop I saw girls in A-lines, Mermaid style, Ballgowns, some adorned with lace, some with beading and some with fabric flowers. So if you have refrained from going to sample sales because you didn't think you would find anything that you would fall in love with, think again. Sample Sales offer a wide selection that will have something that will appeal to everyone.

I was so happy to see so many brides looking into the mirror with radiant smiles. One such bride was Lisa. She found her dream dress today, a beautiful Mikaella gown for a breathtaking two hundred and fifty dollars!!

Lisa is getting married this June in a traditional church ceremony. Her reception will be held at the Waterford in Springfield, VA. The style of her wedding is "Simple Elegance" and clearly this ivory satin gown is going to set the theme perfectly the moment she walks through those church doors with it's flattering ruched details and subtly fitted shape.

Winter White Blowout Sale!

That's right! Brides on a Budget everywhere, REJOICE! Well... actually... Brides on a budget in the DC Metro Area/Maryland/Virginia.... REJOICE! ;)

Ellie's Bridal Boutique in Old Town Alexandria will be having a HUGE sample sale February 3rd, 4th and 5th. The unbelievable deals will leave you ready to rouse the Hallelujah chorus!

Head spinning from sticker-shock? We understand how you feel. Between the venue, caterer, photographer and every other service you need on your big day, the price tag just keeps getting bigger and bigger. But you still want to have your dream dress as you walk down the aisle and then dance the night away with your brand new hubby! Do not fear! Many brides have gorgeous, dream weddings... and they also have a dirty, little secret.... They bought a SAMPLE dress!

At Ellie's we are getting geared up for this sale. We have racks and racks of beautiful dresses just waiting for some beautiful brides to take them home. We are going to have wide ranging prices. There will be a 50 dollar rack, 100 dollar, 250, 500 and 1,000. And that's just for the discontinued samples!

Ellie's will have BRAND NEW sample dresses for 10% off, 20% off and 30% off.

There are dozens of designers and lines that will be on sale.

We will be covering up all the windows so that you don't have to worry about waiting in line for a dressing room. If you have found a few dresses you love but don't want to wait for a changing room, feel free to pull on the dress right then and there! I would highly suggest wearing a strapless bra and some seamless boyshorts or even some running spandex and a tight tank if you plan on doing this.

There will be no appointments on those days. It is all first come, first serve. (Also we won't have any bridesmaids dresses out.) Consultants will be running all over the store, answering questions, zipping girls into dresses, putting back dresses and just generally working our butts off so you will have all the help you need to find the dream gown at your dream price!!
