There’s comic where Thomas “Hush” had gave himself the face of Bruce Wayne to sneak into Bruce’s business and secrets but got access denied because the scanner isn’t a facial recognition device it was to recognize the eyes

Now I’m thinking about since Terry and Matt are technically Bruce’s clones but mostly sons what if they get transported to the dimension and Terry decides they need to get to Bruce so nothing like entering the mansion and bat cave in almost the same way he did the first time which is just walking in not noticing the scanners and it worked now they get to meet the Batfamily

Theories for Killer Croc's coat in Hush (2004)

Hush, Harvey and Clayface-as-Jason have the same trench coat because of identity shenanigans in the plan in the Hush comics. That makes sense. But if you go back to the beginning of this arc, where Batman hauls Croc into custody, he isn't wearing one... And then when Batman goes back to interrogate him, inexplicably, he's wearing one in the cell, the exact same design.

(Croc later tells Catwoman that Ivy had told him she would be at Ivy's greenhouse lair, so there are ways of getting things into Arkham. So I guess it could potentially make sense that someone would be able to... smuggle in a massive trench coat?)

It's in his size and everything, and I can't imagine it's a common size to stock even in Gotham?? So it could have needed to be custom-made. But he's not even part of the identity shenanigans part of the plan, so why does he have an identical trench coat?

Reasons I can think of as to why Croc is wearing an identical trench coat even though it has nothing to do with his part of the group project:

Everyone in the scheme who was fully aware of what was going on got one. The others didn't wear them for their own reasons. Eg. Scarecrow just wanted to wear his costume, Ivy because maybe her pheromones would be more effective without covering herself up that much? (Or they thought the coat was ugly, it would be too cringe to commit that hard to the bit, whatever, etc)

This is a sillier one but maybe Croc just wanted one. Like, he saw the others wearing theirs/was there when the planning stage happened, and was like, I want one too, and nobody objected. (It's mentioned by Riddler that Tommy paid for all of this just to pull Bruce's pigtails, so I guess *he* specifically didn't object to this?

(So these coats are identical, and likely to have been custom-ordered at the same time, and we see the coat on Hush at the beginning when he watches Bruce fall... Maybe Croc gets his coat later in prison because the tailor needed to order more of the same fabric for it, and that's why he's not wearing it when he takes the kid hostage?)

I had another silly idea where maybe Croc was the one that made them, but then I remembered he wasn't wearing it for whatever reason when he took that kid hostage, and it had to be sent to him in Arkham. But I mean, it can't be easy finding clothes in your size when you're that big and tall, and he probably has to get his clothes repaired often given what he does for work. Can't be that much of a stretch to imagine that he knows something about mending clothes,,, maybe making his own??? I can't imagine it would be easy to do delicate work like that esp if your hands are that big, but the image of Croc cutting out pattern pieces with tiny scissors and being hunched over a tiny sewing machine tickles my brain. ANYWAY.... If he was the one who made them, maybe he's not wearing his at the start because he spilt blood on it and sent it to be dry-cleaned. Then the others smuggled it to him when it was done... I don't know...

Also a silly one (I love silly ideas). When Croc is meeting with the others to get help for the skin virus they got him infected with, he's wearing the coat, and they all collectively go like, that's a damn good-looking coat. Nobody objects or asks any questions when the same coat design is proposed as a part of the identity shenanigans. Croc doesn't wear the coat for the hostage-taking because.... It's too near and dear to him to be damaged or stained during his work?? (But why does it get smuggled into prison...? Sure, this idea doesn't make sense but it's just funny to me)

(Making a theory about Hush in the year 2025...!!!)
