DC Challenge: Kingdom Come
So, some of you might not know what the DC Challenge was back in the 80s. It was this wild, experimental comic series where each issue was written and drawn by a different creative team. The rules were simple but brutal:
Every team had to pick up the story exactly where the previous one left off.
They could introduce plot twists, cliffhangers, and mysteries, but they couldn’t resolve everything themselves.
The next team had to figure out how to make sense of it all and keep the story going.
Basically, it was chaos—deliberate chaos—but also an amazing showcase of imagination, collaboration, and the unpredictable fun of shared storytelling.
✨ And now… I’m participating in a writers’ version of that same challenge! ✨ Following the original rules, a group of us are taking turns to continue an ongoing story, one chapter at a time. No one knows exactly where it’s going, and that’s the beauty of it.
A new installment will be published on the first of each month.
The very first chapter is already out!
It’s going to be messy, surprising, and (hopefully) a lot of fun. Can’t wait to see where it all leads.
