Penny had not been to sleep in a good few days and it was wearing down on him. Sighing he plops down the nearest surface and lazily searches through his pockets. Not really paying much attention to those around him, or anything for that matter. Even his own thoughts were secondary and he had no idea what he was even thinking about.

send me DARKNESS! for a starter where all the electricity goes out in the middle of the night.

    Peter has the TV remote in hand, quickly flipping through channels as he searches through the different shows and movies. Considering how LATE it is, he should probably be trying to sleep, but with the thunder and lightning shaking the city outside, he doubts he’ll be able to GET any rest for a while. Heightened senses amplify each clap of thunder in his ears, which is why he’s looking for a distraction. Besides, Cir is there with him ( although he doesn’t think she’s paying attention to what he’s doing ), so at least he’s spending his time with someone. 

      And then everything shuts off. 

  Lifting his head up, Peter peers around the room, eyes quickly adjusting to the darkened room. “Uh...look’s like the power’s out-”

       there was something about a human child being on the streets that didn’t sit.. entirely well with him. cats were fine, of course -- he had been raised as a street kitten, but humans were much more.. vulnerable. softer.  he watched them for a moment, observing, interested, before he let out a soft trill, and jumped down onto the wall above her, tilting his head slowly to one side. 

    interesting.

oh, god forbid this random kid just so happened to waltz this storeroom that was supposed to be off the map. he’d really have to work on those shields if even a kid could see through them. ❛ hey, kid. i ain’t some orphanage. get the hell out. ❜
