2017 has been a fantastic year for comic book/superhero movies. I feel bad for those people that weren’t able to find enjoyment in every movie that came out. It happens, not everything works for everyone. For me though they’ve all been pretty spectacular.
The thing that really bothers me with the whole BvS vs Civil War thing (that for some reason is still going on they came out last year move on) is that most people are gonna take the, scrutiny competitive I’m only allowed to praise one and hate the other, mindset into movies like Wonder Woman vs Captain Marvel, Infinity War vs Justice League, Black Panther vs Wonder Woman (cause for some reason that’s a thing) and many other dumb versus I can’t even imagine yet.
As I always say you don’t have to like every single comic book movie that comes out, but if you truly believe comic book movies and superhero movies are a genre (because they basically are now) then we should all want every comic book movie to do well critically and financially that cause only helps keep the genre alive and thriving for more movies and more unique movies. We should want them all to be good. And if we luck up and get multiple great comic book movies in a single year (2017 has been an amazing year people) then maybe instead of looking for flaws in order to boost your fav we all celebrate and hope 2018, 2019 and so on continues to give us our fav characters and stories at a high quality level.

Wonder Woman herself: It's about what you believe. And I believe in love. Only love will truly save the world.
Black Panther himself: Vengeance has consumed you. It's consuming them. I'm done letting it consume me.
Internet which wouldn't deserve either: *pits Wonder Woman and Black Panther against one another, two of the most relevant movies in all genres (not just in the superhero business) in the last few years because they're gonna inspire children all over the world who never had anything like them be the hero before, even though there's literally half a year between the two movies if anything to fire their idiotic DC vs Marvel thing*
I wish we could live in this euphoric moment where Wonder Woman and Black Panther are gracing us comic book fans with diversity in cast, storytelling, crew, and bringing together Marvel and DC fans. I only hope more movies released from any studio is able to produce moments like these more often.
I like to think about the fact that if Captain America and Wonder Woman were to ever meet they would teach each other cool way to use their shields in battle.
