This time last year... I packed up my belongings and was driving to the Amtrak. I cannot believe it's been exactly one year since I've left Disney. Some days it feels like I just came back, and other days it feels like I've been gone for years. I miss it every day and I cannot wait to go back. I was told by a good friend that if I "miss it that much, then I have found my home". This is a fact. I have found my home, and it's in Disney. I love Maryland, but Florida brought me so much happiness. I met so many amazing people from all over the world, had so many cool opportunities, and I loved bring joy and happiness to guests. And I just can’t hide it!
My mom and I are going on a weekend trip to Florida. We will be staying in Cocoa Beach and be checking out the Kennedy Space Center.
…aaaand I convinced her to let us make a pit stop in Downtown Disney!
It was absolutely refreshing to get to pull out My Disney Experience App and make a reservation for Planet Hollywood! I actually already have a blog post written and ready reviewing Plant Hollywood, but this way I’ll be able to spice it up a bit more! What a great opportunity!
I joked with her that I would most likely just go lay on the concrete in front of World of Disney and just weep at the fact that I am home… Which isn’t totally impossible.
I also get the chance to pick up some Disney Pins I’ve been wanting. (Yeah, I fell into pin trading while down there. Sorry not sorry.) And I’ll be able to get some new of the Disney Merch I’ve been eyeing.
It’s been six months since I’ve been in Florida. Six months too long.
