sleeping with a student was one thing, but ignoring said student and not contacting her for days was another. karma did not take kindly to being ignored, so she’d resorted to showing up at professor hayden’s door. it’s pathetic but she’s not use to guys ghosting her, usually it’s the reverse. she’s knocking on the door, and she can hear the soft pad of footsteps on hard wood flooring approaching the door. she expects eli, or professor jacobs. so when the door is opened to reveal anna, shock appears over her features. she’s usually better at hiding emotions - it was something she never learned to do around anna though. “what the fuck are YOU doing here? - what did he downgrade to the cheap carbon copy?” she’s not attempting to hide the bitter undertone to her words, she can’t when it comes to the only person she ever truly loved.
