Damian is tired of his family, of expectations and violence. He is slowly but surely realizing that maybe he doesn’t want to be what his parents want him to be, and maybe, just maybe, he wants to forge his own path. But with the ever looming threat of the League, and his own families tendancy to mess up his life, he has very few options as to explore a future solely for himself.
He sees a way off the planet, and he realizes it’s everything he needs to learn who he is, away from the drama and expectations and violence.
Damian Wayne joins the crew of Aurora as a Medical Intern, and Thrives.
Marinette is tired, worn out, and five seconds away from the mental breakdown that will spell doom to the Universe as we know it. She is terrified after realizing just how close she was to getting caught in the new HawkMoth’s trap, and Ladybug’s identity hangs on a scale holding up the world.
So she decides that she has to leave, has to not only take a vacation for her own mental health, but also take a step back from the situation and the danger. If the HawkMoth is going to scour Paris for Ladybug, then Ladybug can’t be in Paris.
All it takes is one heated conversation with a Bunny and a Fox, and Ladybug brokers a deal to jump Forward to every Akuma attack in the next year so that she can get some much needed space between her and Paris.
Marinette becomes the Aurora’s Project Coordinator Intern.
Danny is still suffering from exhaustion and physical strain after the battle with Pariah Dark, to the point that Red Huntress now has help in Belladonna and CyberPunk, Sam and Tucker taking on alias’s while they help pull the slack that Danny can’t.
Feeling bad about his role in Danny’s ghostly exhaustion, and also still a scheming Fruitloop, Vlad dangles the internship in Danny’s face as a peace treaty.
Danny has his doubts, but between his friends and a very troublemaking ghost of Time making promises, he finally agrees, and he gets the one thing he’s been wishing since he was a child and thought long out of his reach.
Danny becomes the Intern Fleet Maintenance Engineer for the Aurora.
These three teenage heroes have boarded a ship where they will spend the next two years learning how to be normal-ish teenagers again, no longer having to worry about fighting to save others and free to finally relax.
Only they don’t know that this Space ship was destined to fall, and now they are stuck on world of horrible creatures and beautiful scenery and time is ticking before their bodies are taken over by a viscous bacteria.
