nooooo dude i’m near the end of grizz’s persona 5 playthrough, and i’m over here adoring everything about the final palace, especially how the music is so full of tragedy and pain and perfectly expresses the gentle intentions but inherently warped nature of the doc’s actions...and then i hear grizz talking to chat and saying, “yeah, it’s called ‘gentle madman,’” and i go o h. oh this is the song.

this is the persona 5 song he said fits rumi. i remember hearing him talk about it before and meaning to listen to it, but i never got around to it. and so the first time that i'm hearing it is with the full context of the persona 5 character it was made for...and it all maps onto rumi perfectly.
