WE'RE SO BACK, the shots were so much better than ddba s1, and the camera movement was so much more dynamic!! i love.
longer episodes!!! i am so happy about that as well.
right off the fucking bat we start with action, and i love that. matt in the suit with the two D's already?!?! and god the finesse with which this was shot, the work with the shadows and stuff HNGHHH, and the shot of the DD logo on his chest after light comes in through the hole, holy fucker of gods. i loved this whole thing !!
also ew, swimming in the hudson? jfc
alsooo, the shot with matt picking up the camera and breaking it?!?! (can he come fuck me already?)
also the shot of the boat sinking and matt hanging on by the pipe but letting go and going into the water, I WAS SCREECHING, this season's shots have so much more life in them.
matt being a cheeky bastard; "could get better". i've missed this man, bad.

cherry; though i did hate him as soon as he was on my screen. i also do like him better when he's not acting as morally superior as last season. i love the small glimpse we got into his place, i think that adds more to him. i also surprisingly didn't hate all his convos with matt this time around, very yummy.

when they took off his mask, i was so sure that we're gonna go into the arc where it's like matt's a fugitive now instead of just dd, or that they take him to the prison/ cells. but BOOM

also, another thing. foggy. my wife. i really do believe, that matt not being able to think of foggy outside of his death maybe cause matt still hasn't processed his grief yet, and can't think of foggy outside that context. also, fuck you disney, elden henson deserves better, foggy deserves better.
and istg they're bringing him back, i really do think so.
over all, i think this season is gonna be better than ddba s1 by MILES.
