you know a lot of SErs want to argue that elena’s feelings for damon werent real and human elena really chose stefan, but my question is, if thats the case, why is it that ONLY her feelings for damon were heightened and not stefan’s? has anyone ever actually thought about this? if supposedly everything you felt as human gets heightened as a vampire, why didnt her feelings for stefan heightened AT ALL? She said she loved him right? she said she’ll always love stefan right? so why wasnt that same energy heightened when she became a vampire? No one has ever connected these dots? it’s because human elena actually wanted damon all along but was too afraid to own up to her own feelings so choosing stefan was the safer and more obvious choice. her becoming a vampire did nothing but tell on herself tbh. if picking stefan was really her true choice, than that decision should’ve been heightened as well, even if her feelings for damon were heightened, then that shouldnt have even mattered since her feelings for stefan were “suppose” to be stronger regardless? The vampirism and sire bond argument is really starting to get old at this point.
