Summary:  They were filming some scene where Wei Wuxian had far too many lines for any human being to speak, and Yibo was being particularly...a lot. Xiao Zhan had been trying to concentrate. He’d had one of his hair ribbons in his hand, and he’d wrapped it playfully around Yibo’s throat, pulling it snug with a soft, “hush,” and Yibo had gone still and soft and helpless, and Xiao Zhan’s entire world had pivoted.

Xiao Zhan's going crazy trying to stop getting distracted by the memories of their summers together. Yibo's got other ideas.

My bookmark comment:

Aahhh, this was a tasty dish. As the author said, it's brimful of tropes, and they're all wonderful: a fine selection of cheese served up on a silver platter.

In which Wei Wuxian is kicked out of his home at 16 for something that... was more of a misinterpretation (& external malice) than anything else, but no one allowed him to explain. Nine years later, he co-runs a cafe with the family who took him off the streets (an experience he's now had TWICE). He's doing okay, but he's sad and misses his old life. And then Lan Wangji appears, and he's every Harlequin girl's dream, sweeping into Wei Ying's life and wanting to take care of him. There are tears (seriously, I kept sopping tears with my knuckles and insisting I wasn't crying), emotional comforting, hot sex, bad guys and scary situations getting resoundingly handled... *Pats mouth delicately with napkin* Tasty, indeed.

Harry had tried to get used to the attention fame had brought him - had learned to at least pretend to deal with the rumours and speculation about every aspect of his life, had learned to pretend to be all right with the paparazzi shadowing his every move, had learned to pretend to cope with too-many-fans mobbing him whenever he went anywhere - but after being outed all too publicly, it all became too much. A break from it all on island in the middle of the Pacific, far away from everything and anything seemed to be just the sort of thing Harry needed.

A distraction was even better, especially when it came in the form of a gorgeous surfing instructor with a smile that could outshine the sun - even if a summer romance hadn't been on the original agenda. A heart-shaped island in the middle of the ocean was probably sort of place to fall in love. But Louis had his own reasons for being in Tavarua, and those might just mean that neither of them get the happy ending they're looking for.

Hi!! Can u help me find a fic, I read it back when I first got into the Untamed and then I lost it but it was so good! Wwx dates lwj on a bet in high school and then people find out and it’s a whole scandal and he gets kicked out, then 13 years or w/e later lwj is a famous classical musician and wwx runs a coffee shop with the wens?? I checked the modern au tag but I didn’t see it there
