Hi, concerning your dead tavros cosplay you did a while back, I've always wondered, how do you get that lance to stay in place? Is it attached to the shirt or a strap or something?

It’s attached to a sort-off harness thing under my shirt! Attaching it to the shirt I knew from the beginning would be a bad idea! It would make the lance wiggle when I walked etc. Fabric is not a stable material!

Please check this step-by-step out, on how I put the lance on! (It’s a little old and bad quality, but you’ll get the idea at least!)

I'm glad you're asking! Long post answering this with gifs under the cut~~~

I made my friends really tired of me, because it was hard putting this cosplay on by myself. I always needed assistance. For this im going to get help from this lovely dame. Aka: My mom.

To get the two lance parts to stick and stay still and not flopp around or fall down, i got my mother's old baritone harness thing.

Though it wasn't tight enough, and my dad helped me put study extra metall strips under it.

(Black is the harness, grey is metall)

The pieces stick to the harness with some (good!) velcro!

Whieeeeeee!!!

The good thing about tavros's outfit is that you can have a hidden opening on the back, since he has an open shirt over his t-shirt! (How to get your shirt on in the mornings, Tavros~)

And finally, DONE!

Now to get the horns on and stuff like that. Im not going to show you how to put on horns because thats not hard and i doubt you need a gif for it~
