Drinking Flowers’ “Black Monday”

For fans of The Black Angels, dead coast, French Kissing, DIIV, The Vandelles, Lush, Ringo Deathstarr, Beach Fossils, Wild Nothings, Deerhunter.

New Swirled Order is the Drinking Flowers debut album. Their retro-style harkens to late-80s/early-90s rock but with elements of more contemporary drone rock and minimal shoegazing. Moody and broody but still with a semblance of pop/rock sentimentality. When you listen to them or watch this video you’ll forget it’s 2016, for better or for worse.
