So me and my friend (who we'll call Alex) were talking after Hapkido, and we were doing a post-throw technique in the elite program class, and I'm a lot skinnier than them, and I thought they said something about spiders when they were referring to my body, (as a joke, they weren't bullying me we were just joking around) and I heard either "spiders" or "dead spiders" I forgot, and I'm not even sure if I heard them correctly, and I instinctively said "dead spider" and I followed it with "my new gender is dead spider" and then we just started joking around about my gender being "dead spider", and I said; "If someone asks me for my pronouns or gender-" and then we both said "dead spider" at the same time and it was super fucking funny 😂

And that's how I figured out by true gender

My true gender is dead spider

Hermione Granger Headcannon

Hermione would talk to Crookshanks for hours on end about the small things Ron would say about her... Hurting her feelings and making her cry, the next morning the Gryffindor's would be rudely awoken by Ron screaming and an orange old cat running out of his room.

What he did... Well Hermione wasn't sure. But, she always felt a bit happier after, while she cuddled up to the purring cat in the common room by the fire reading a book her mother sent her.

She would of course immediately apologize to Ron but he wouldn't blame her. He blamed that damn orange beast. She would still buy him a few chocolate frogs when she could as an apology. Unaware of a disapproving feline, and an amused brotherly best friend.

She didn't complain 24/7 to Crookshanks, but when she did he knew it was serious. He loved his human that looked at him and choose him in that shop. Out of all the other younger, flying, small creatures; she choose him...and he loved her for it. He would protect her from anything and everything.
