There´s an old legend in this small city, as it seems impossible to envision a small city without legends, that goes more or less like this: on the fifth night of August a white horse arrives in the city, white as the moonlight and beautiful as only a unicorn could be, many will feel tempted to touch the majestic animal, however, only one person is picked to ride on his back. On you ride on the unicorn...you´ll never be seen again.

Kitty "Ariel" Pryde worked as a rogue of sorts(a mix of cleric and rogue, but, she does not hold anyone accountable for not knowing this as her tittle sometimes confused her) and listen to this tale more than once ever since she arrives in her own city.

"Tonight is the night, hide your wife and daughters as the unicorn will steal them away" an old man jester drinking a large cup of their finest beer and earning laughs from the pub.

Kitty is amused by this tale, there´s many, many and many tales of animals ''taking women away'' but this one seems to be the famous, if not the most famous tale in all kingdom.

"Hey," Kitty asked "does the unicorn have preferences for brunettes?" she jokes as well. More waves of laughter issues, only the leader of the guild isn´t laughing as the woman did answer Kitty´s question. "No, in fact, the unicorn does not care for beauty. What the unicorn wants is someone strong enough to be with his master and he often sends the rejected ones back to this city. This city is built under rejection"

The other ladies didn´t pay any mind for this strange line as maybe the leader is joking too...in her own morbid own.

Is finally time for Kitty to sleep. Her room may not be fancy, but, after having slept in so many hostels in the past months her room now is better by comparison.

As she is brushing her teeth she heard throttle stomping near her house, but, at this time it should have no one. Curious Kitty peak outside the wall of her house to see... a unicorn.

"What?" is all she can say as the unicorn is staring back at her. "Who did you get here?" Kitty asked until the old legend hit her hard, however, Kitty shakes her head, no, that´s just an old legend...maybe someone glued a horn in this poor horse to scare her.

"Hey, are you alright?" Kitty asked the unicorn knowing the unicorn can´t respond. She inspects the animal and the unicorn/horse is indeed a beauty. Only someone that rich could have means to keep this horse. "Is our guild leader prank us, again"

The horse is unmoved. And when Kitty gentle pet his head the animal lowers his head in a signal of allowing Kitty to ride him. Again, the legend is screaming into his mind as she's stepped away for a moment.

"No, is just a horse, and maybe ...I should ride the unicorn just to show her" and Kitty did just that. As soon as she climbs on the animal, his beautiful image is traded for a nightmarish one.

The dead unicorn starts running into the forest and Kitty didn´t break free of the unicorn no matter how much she wanted.

Bonus:

Kurt Darkholme is a different type of fae, his brothers and sisters(except one) don´t seem to see eye to eye with him or even care for his well-being. The fae marries once with a mortal that was killed by his enemies...the faes even mentioned how that marriage was odd, even to their standers, and when this azzure fae decides to marry again...it results to traditional means that no fae ever would prefer.

The dead unicorn arrives and one very angry and confused Kitty Pryde is looking at a very strange fae indeed.

Yeah, the legend is real.

"Hi, your horse kidnapped me"

"You go around riding strange horses?"

And that´s how it all starts.
